Can you use a red network cable with red to blue device adapters?
August 28, 2010 at 5:15 pm #896252I have a 25ft cable that came with my LCX25C that has never been opened. It is an LEI official accessory. Part number GPSX-25BL or 119-01. It has Blue connectors on it. The label says “Fits all 2004 and newer Lowrance GPS units with 5-pin blue connectors and LGC-2000 GPS modules. I don’t need it! Shoot me a price if you want it.
August 29, 2010 at 4:17 am #896317I believe the X20c takes an LGC 12W and lei-extras has it in stock. Check the link below and if it matches the one offered earlier in this thread that might be a good way to go.
August 30, 2010 at 3:47 pm #896520The LCX-20c was packaged with an LGC-2000 module.
It also came with a Y cable with a 60 ohm terminator
that connected to the 2000 module, if you weren’t connecting
the unit to an existing network.August 30, 2010 at 6:00 pm #896558thats the cable i need, the y cable with the 60ohm terminator. any other way of connecting puck to unit?
August 30, 2010 at 7:05 pm #896566You are right Dan, my mistake. My memory is getting bad. Seems like I have to look up everything anymore. Come to think of it my memory never was real good. Anyway, if you are not connecting to a NMEA backbone then the cable you are talking about is the one needed. I’ll look around and see if I can find one. Someone must have one sitting around though.
August 30, 2010 at 8:52 pm #896588thanks a ton. trolling speed has become a guessing game the last 2 months. any help is greatly appreciated.

You can use part #127-48, which is a red network cable with
built in terminators on each end, and then use adapter #127-04
to connect to unit and puck.Another way to accomplish this is to set up a “true” network
buss with extension cables, T’s, and terminators. You would
still need the #127-04 adapter cables but you are now set
to add the newer Lowrance products that are red network
compatible. This would include the HDS line.August 31, 2010 at 3:45 am #896658i bought a 2 foot cable and a t conector from cabelas on sunday now all i need is a 60ohm terminator. anybody have on or know where to get one?

This will put your puck very close to the LCX. You may want
to buy Joe’s (see above) extension cable just in case you
have reception issues.Do you have an original “Y” cable for this unit?
