Hate to be negative, but I think we will be very luck to be ice free by opener.
November 14, 2021 at 4:59 am #2073666I made one 3 years Ago by a waterhole, have a cam on it every fall never gets touched.
September 21, 2021 at 11:59 pm #2062510I will take them if the other fella does not. I can pick them up in Lake Elmo, only 1 hour away.
Ok, I will post here if they are sold or not.
September 21, 2021 at 4:01 pm #2062388I would like to buy these, but I’m not available until tomorrow evening.
I will hold them for you until tomorrow evening.
September 21, 2021 at 3:21 pm #2062371Holy schnit, those r warm.
U ever get to the cities?
Bear, I prefer bigger boots for waders, I can put a thin wool socks on and a big puffy poly over it to fill in the space, and creates a good material to trap moisture since I tend to walk ALOT in mine. I’ll at times walk miles.
I live near Lake Elmo
September 21, 2021 at 3:20 pm #2062369How does the size 13 fit ? Is it large or tight. I wear a 12 boot.
I wear 12 boot also, it’s a bit big in case I want a thick sock in them
September 9, 2021 at 2:29 pm #2059571I wasn’t duck hunting yesterday but when I started fishing right around sunrise I saw ducks flying and other than the size, there’s no way to tell what kind they are. They definitely don’t have full plumage yet either. There’s literally no way to know or confirm how many non-teal have been harvested.
This is the biggest load of crap I have read in a long time!! First of all, blue winged teal have as much color now than they will until spring. If you can’t tell a duck by the profile and flight pattern put down the gun and grab some binos and learn to.
September 2, 2021 at 9:55 pm #2058447I was doing some searching. Look up wooly aphids. Does that look the same to you?
You nailed it Musky!
I cut the damn thing down this morning and relocated it.September 2, 2021 at 2:57 am #2058229I did Google it Randy and that seems to attack leaves and fruit, this is one the trunk and branches, not the leaves.
September 1, 2021 at 11:08 am #2058042That white stuff on the trunk and branches just showed up in the last 3 days.
July 5, 2021 at 12:04 pm #2046088Another big hatch over the weekend on the east side. The big guys.
June 25, 2021 at 6:57 pm #2044729Update: the markers are now in the correct place, but still missing 2 of the 5. Oh well, better than none at all
June 14, 2021 at 3:46 pm #2042682I really hope you are correct, but the last couple years seems like the hatch into July.
I saw the big sheets of them floating Sunday. Are they the big 747’s?
June 13, 2021 at 6:48 pm #2042485Don’t these beans look great? That’s what makes nuking them tomorrow with 2-4d so tough. But it has to be done. The plots are covered with pigweed or waterhemp. Not sure which it is, but it’s glyphosate resistent.
June 13, 2021 at 2:14 pm #2042436The latest info I have is no owner yet, but George is very close to closing the deal…we will see. Hunters is again running the resort for the bank.
June 2, 2021 at 9:28 am #2040281Maybe try Milo in the new plot. Good cover, lasts all winter long and when the heads are ripe it’s great food source.
May 22, 2021 at 10:53 pm #2038353Nice looking boats………..bet they look even better without them windshields.
May 5, 2021 at 3:34 pm #2034905It’s too late now, but I get my corn seed from MDHA. This year a bag RR corn that plants 2.5 acres was $45.
You usually have to order from them in January.
April 21, 2021 at 9:50 am #2031402I turned dirt last weekend at the farm near Fergus. Did not find any frost at all. Also ground up the plots at home in Stillwater and again no frost. It’s go time. Hope to be planting corn in a week and a half.
