The max height appears to be 11″ from floor to top of pedestal.
I don’t know how much travel but my guess would be this is a 9″ – 11″ mainstay air ride.

I have a long driveway.
I always put the Garbage can on my trailer hitch (yes, I’m one of those that rarely takes out my trailer hitch).
Couple weeks ago I was about 1/2 way to work (it’s about 10 miles) and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out where all this racket was coming from.
Helps when you remember to stop at end of driveway and drop of Garbage
To bad it’s all wooded country roads and it was 5:15 on a Friday morning
so no one saw me. Bet it would have made some folks day wondering what the He!! I was doing..
I would have continued to work but damn garbage truck comes about 6:30 so turned around.
When I did, it tipped over… I was glad I had gloves with.

Carnivore and Matt have very valid points.
I would say about 50 + % of the motors we’ve taken in had been scrapped as they said they weren’t worth repairing.
If you can try to DIY route, it’s good advice.
They will be honnest and tell you if it’s worth it or not.
Had a lot of rewound motors last a long, long time though.

Absolutely love them. I have went places in northern WI that I wouldn’t have thought about going with anything else. Saw snowmobiles struggling bad to get through some of the snow we were in and my set up never even broke a sweat.
Almost got stuck last year but that was in some un expected slush and it was bad. Got out but sure wouldn’t have wanted to think about what work it would have been if it would have not made it. I have a full enclosure and even in the extreme cold I haven’t wore anythign more than a coat, boots and a hat.
They’re not a speed demon… that’s for sure.

It’s a good ride of of Bostic Bay. Shorter than running up the river. Like always on south side of LOTW’s, if wind is coming out of west or north, it’s rough getting onto the lake. I’ve turned around at the marker bouys heading onto lake from Bostic Bay more than once. 1 time I regret even going that far!!!

Been going to Cyrus through last 3 owners. Always has been a pleasure. Very clean Cabins and friendly staff.
They now have ice roads so you can drive yourself onto the lake.
Great protected bay when summer fishing.
Another really nice place on south end is Zipple bay. They have the Famous Ice igloo bar on the lake that you can drink… and fish out of.
Further west would be Arnesons rocky reef. Not as nice as accomadations as the other 2 mentioned (nice bar and resturant), but very close to some of the best structure fishing on the US Side.
Guess that’s my $.02

Yep!!!

The heaters in my 1st couple cars were so bad I didn’t think about going anywhere (especially tip up fishing) without cans of sterno. Really came in handy, especially those out-in-the-middle of nowhere field parties that were so common in my day.

Small flood in upstairs laundry room and water in basement. Didn’t know washers held that much water until yesterday.
