Leopold. I have 3 of them, funny thing is I bought the first one in the early 80’s after the Weaver scope I had literally fell apart when adjusting the power while deer hunting in the Black Hills. I never have to adjust them, even dropped my .308 out of the stand once and the scope was still spot on.

Occasionally sit all day but mostly until 11 then back at 2 to 3. I hunt woods and swamps, not the fields and see and shoot most bucks in the morning. Sat in the pouring rain yesterday morning and bagged an 8 pointer around 8:30 am.

NE of Mille Lacs, does have left their fawns, bucks are head down and sniffing or chasing tail when they catch up with a hot doe.

Someone please explain to me how in the hell did the national narrative go from “flatten the curve” to “anything at any cost to avoid any new cases”??? If 6 feet works, why a mask? If a mask works, why 6 feet? If both work why locking down? Will masks and distancing and mandated hand sanitizer now be required every flu season too? WTF?

Most jig beginners get excited and want to set the hook the instant they feel the bite. The trick is to hesitate a few seconds before the hook set.

Back in the 70’s on Mille Lacs Vineland Bay we trolled daredevils on cane poles & when we smacked a northern we just tossed the pole overboard and followed it until it quit moving. It was a hoot!

Old thread but new story… Last year I had moles destroying my lawn. Not a big do it yourself guy so I paid a local “mole expert” $200 to clear them out. All summer he claimed to have trapped two. Screw that waste of money.

Came across this thread and bought 3 of these traps. Set them last night for the first time and in 16 hours I have killed 3 of these varmints! Thanks for the tip BK I love these traps!

For live TV you can’t beat it. Fox Sports North is included. My only complaint is it is owned by Google so instead of “learning” my viewing habits (primarily Fox News) it keeps trying to steer me to CNN, MSNBC, YTT. Maybe I’m just a grumpy conspiracy theorist but I swear it happens. Any others experience this?

Duckback Superdeck tinted is the only thing I’ve found that lasts. Horizontal surfaces (floor, railing tops) 2-3 years, vertical surfaces 3-5 years. Only stuff I’ll ever use until I rip off the cedar and replace with maintenance free!
