I’ve read stories where it’s speculated the training all year long is having a negative effect. The bodies aren’t getting enough time to recover from the long season. This could be especially true with pitchers who all off season tinker with the delivery to get their velo up and they just blow out.

I did a drive around the lake today thinking I should look into a seasonal up there. I’ve fished the lake before and do like it.

Is your campground still full? Any campers for sale you know of? Most important is there a dock space for every site or are docks limited?

Any info would be much appriciated.

IMO you are overthinking it. You said you are traveling North on Sunday. Any weekend traffic will be heading South. Vacation traffic is Saturdays. Pick a route and do it. Traffic won’t be a issue. Construction is always a issue in the summer unless you fly. As a guy who has logged over a million highway miles I can tell you 2 things….

1) Getting there safe is the goal.
2) You will get there when you get there and that will never change no matter what the goals or reasons.

I haven’t watched any Twins games on TV. Are they still doing the ridiculous fishing vest thing after a homerun this year?
