The wind will get under plastic and move it causing it to scratch your paint.

Doesn’t hurt to have a safety talk with your group when not hunting by yourself. Tuff it out on your stand and be patient. Think of all time you devote to this sport for something that’s going to happen in 10-60 seconds and be done. Hope your standing over a bug one when your time is done.

I have some medical issues. So I use the cart for travel to stands. I hunt a farm near Hudson so able to drive field edges and make trail close to stands. Its battery powered and quiet. First thing I did was disconnect the reverse alarm. If you PM me your number I will text you picture. I pimped it out.

Most the bucks I have harvested have come off grunt or can call. They work great in the right situation and location. Called in multiple bucks at one time before and had a battle right in front of me.

Can call is always good never had that scare a deer or anything ,does will even come check out all year long. Ive finally heard the buck roar and watched a 10 pointer do it a few times. Like stated earlier some years the deer are very vocal and some you might not hear a grunt.Few years ago watch a buck do the snort wheeze But I’ve never really had a negative result calling. Sure deer might not appear or just come in but nothing like running from the call.

Can call as in a doe bleat, like the green cans from primos ?

I use that kind of doe bleat. That and my grunt call I’ve called in bucks with. Never had any good experience with rattling.

I use a Primos and blow it every 45 minutes or so. Not sure if that’s the right way but I’ve had success or luck doing it that way.

I have any FL8 that’s got to be 25 yrs old. Its the first unit I never bought. Use it for ice fishing and I think it works great. Its does make a little noise when you turn it on cold.

If you don’t mind your kids learning new things then I don’t mind them at the bar. Middle of the day or supper time but 10 pm might be different.

Get a swimming noodle and cut it so it fits the top of 5 gal bucket. Nice soft seat.

I love shooting my crossbow. I would prefer to use a compound but medical issues wont allow me to any more. I’m more accurate with crossbow than my slug gun. 70 yard groupings at 4″ when I do get a flyer its only off by couple of inches. I shoot 12-15 shots 5 days a week and can’t wait to get out.

I won a Meet your Favorite Brewer contest when I was a kid. Met Tommy Harper got to into clubhouse and on field during batting practice. Was pretty cool when I was 9. Milwaukee County Stadium had .05 beer night when I was a kid. You could get 3 beers at that price. Needless to say alot of guys got jacked up.

Im in fantasy football so that keeps me tuned in a lot on the different games. Despite the drama with Aaron Rodgers I love rooting for the Packers. Also love to go to Lambo Field an experience in its own.
