Looking for a gas four stroke mini bike for my son to rip my yard up with. Would be nice if it was heavy enough so I can go for a rip here and there also.

    I would look for a 110cc pit bike. I’m 250 and ride my son’s.

Is the ssr ripping wheelies like no other.

I would skip a mini bike and buy a pit bike. Ssr will go forever. You can buy it in a auto or a 4 speed. The 110 is a perfect size for your boy. We had a coleman mini bike and a few custom built ones. But the pit bike is way funner.

Yup, running good. Did new brake calipers front and back. The boys are loving it.

Thought that Coleman ct200 mini bike would be a good fit with the 200cc motor and front suspension. Are you able to ride that in the snow with the wide tires? I looked at the pit bike and thought that would rip up my grass worse than the fat tire one. Only on ½ acre in town. Crazy how the asking price of the Coleman CT200 model went from $480 to $850 to $1,200 in one year.

We just got ours this summer so I’m not sure about the snow. As far as the price there are different Coleman models and pricing. Runnings had the same ones we have for around $600 I believe. The more expensive Coleman’s have front suspension which would be nice since the rigid fork is kinda bumpy in rough terrain.

    Check out runnings online. https://www.runnings.com/mini-bike-196cc-coleman-red-21980015.html

Just another review to say the Coleman mini bikes are excellent. I bought one for my two boys about 4 years ago, the CT200 with a 196cc Chonda engine. These Honda clone engines are as reliable as the day is long and you can get parts almost anywhere including the local auto parts store for these things because they are exact Honda copies.

The kids ride it constantly when we are at the farm. This is a great machine for them to learn about the basics of maintenance because these things are so simple. All they’ve done is changed oil, grease the clutch bearing, oil the chain and clean the filter. Great for kids to learn basic maintenance.

We did upgrade to a suspension fork. You can buy the suspension fork direct from coleman. The rigid forks just made the ride too rough but the suspension fork really smooths it out.

These things are powerful enough that an adult can ride them in sometimes I do jump on it when I need a ride to go out and check on something or need to run and get a tool quick. It’s plenty fast even with an adult on.

Plenty of these on sale on Facebook.

The best part about the Chinese honda clones is actual honda parts bolt right on.

I brought home a CT200 last night. It is a bunch of fun and is about the perfect size for my yard. By the time I topped out on acceleration I have to slow down to turn. It doesn’t look like it was ripping up the grass. I think I will have to pick up another one so I can play at the same time as my son. I ended up finding a used one for $350 that is almost new.

That’s a good deal but that one is only the 100cc model. The red ones are 200cc

I hope it is legit. They have a working phone number. Same prices as last year. (you can double check on Camel Camel Camel) So I hope it is good. I will update when it shows up in 12 to 15 days.

The FIRST thing I do when ordering from a new website is check the address. Then look at street view. Too many scammers out there these days.

That Kidspowersports did not have anymore in stock and refunded my money. That Runnings deal looks good and I think I will order one of them. Thank you Coletrain.
