Minnetonka ice out

    How is the ice looking on Tonka? Think the ice will be gone by next Sat. the 16th? Looking to get the boat out there asap.

    I have the 20th in my fishing club pool. I hope it holds on until then.

    My backup plan is to get out there Sat. the 23rd. I think I read online that the average ice out is the 15th. After this winter, I am thinking it is going to be a little later than average so you may be in the $$ from your pool.

    We will need some warm weather and some wind to have it ice free by next weekend. But who know we may get it

    Predicted thunderstorm on Saturday night might do wonders as well.

    Well, I have open water for about 10 feet infront of my dock this morning. I am not going to be suprised to see a lot more opening up really soon.
