Our company gaves us a holiday Monday so I could finally get back out on
Wissota again after a couple weeks out of action. I’m still finding lots of
nice crappies on sharp breaklines in 10 to 15 fow. The biggest crappie was 14″
but I had no camera, and had at least 5 over 12″. Tossed ’em all back. Lots
of little walleye in there with them.
There was some surface (or near surface) feeding going on so I casted a small
crank bait further in on the flat and caught some on a slow retrieve.
I wasn’t really counting, but I probably had around 30 crappie and 20 walleye.

Water temps are still around 60 degrees.

What a perfect way to spend your day off! You have done a great job of staying on top of the fish.

Had a coworker show me a picture of a 2# crappie off of Wissota from last weekend. Sounds like the fishing is going pretty good…

When the water was flowing fast, high, and muddy I struggled. But things are back to normal
    again now.
