Week 5 – Lake Wissota Fishing League Results

I want to wake up the Wissota forum, so I will start to post results from the league. I will try to post the top 5 each week.

1 – Stublen Anglers – 36 points – 1 walleye, 1 northern, 6 panfish. Big fish was a 32″ northern
2 – Wissota Blues – 31 points – 3 bass, 6 panfish. Big fish was a smallie over 18 inches
3 – Fine H2o – 30 points – 6 walleyes with two 17″ walleyes
4 – Buzz Baits – 22 points – 2 walleye, 1 musky, one panfish. Big fish was a 29″ musky
5 – Minnow Slayers – 22 points – 1 walleye, 1 bass, 3 northerns.

i agree on waking up the Wissota forum! I like the post, unfortunately we wern’t able to crack the top five this week. Didn’t find to many willing biters with the cold front conditions. The fish we did catch were all on lead core, brite colors, in about 18-25′ depths where the yellow river dumps in.

The bite was challenging for us as well.

Tim and I did a lot of jigging. I’m not willing to publicly admit our hooking ratio.
