I would think with water surface temps on wed. ranging in the mid 70’s which is up 15 degs from Sat. they should be bedding. The weather has been throwing all the species into somewhat different patterns this year. These surface water temps are 4-6+ weeks ahead of normal! With the forecasted projected temps pushing 90 I think they would be in & gone in short order. But what do I know I’m more of a toothy type fisherperson. Welcome to IDO Dan Parker.

I am not much for bass myself but the word on the street tells me you are a little late for the spawners. The league members who target these rough creatures had been talking about fishing the beds a few weeks ago. The water temps are way up for May.
