Monster Sturgen

    Today i was jiging for walleyes with 6 pound test and a quarter ounce jig with a night crawler by the bridge by the marina at the east end of the little lake. I hooked into a monster sturgen. I fought it for 45 minutes and it dragged my boat across the bay. It was 6 feet close to 7 feet long and it bottomed out my grandpas 75 pound scale. To get it in the boat my grandpa put its head in the net and i grabbed the tail. Then we managed to drag it in the boat. Its the biggest fish ive ever caught in my entire life.

    Nice fish Pete. I know there are huge Sturgen and Catfish in that lake. THe Sturgen surface on the water at night. Its preety cool.

    There’s some monster fish in that lake….they say the barn is the place where the big cats are….rumor has it there’s world record cats and sturgeon in the silo…
