Park ramp open

    The State Park boat launch opened up Monday so I got out fishing Tuesday evening after work to hunt for crappies. Action was slow, but I did manage to catch a few accidental walleye, a couple of crappie and a perch.
    I always offer up larger and smaller crappie lures. They all wanted large bait.
    Water temp was around 48.

    Thanks for the update. I saw your rig in the lot and was curious how you did.

    The DNR sure has a lot of nets out this spring. We should get some good data.

    Did they put the docks in? Don’t want to scratch the new boat.

    Sully, did you fish or were you just driving around checking out landings? Not sure I’d know your boat if you went by me.
