    For anyone seeking SM/LM Bass, the bite has been outstanding since the water came up. Most are still pre-spawn and very eager to slam small cranks. Plenty of walleyes are still in the river as well, and a little searching for the right seams will provide a lot of action.

    U.P. C/R Bass season opens Tuesday…Lakes are very low. I am taking a Menominee river Smallie float trip Thursday and hope to post a report.
