So I’m sitting here thinking again about how I can’t wait for the Rainy River to open up, and then the opener, and then I started thinking what happens if this virus spread doesn’t slow down and Governor Walz decides to draw a circle around me? If the circle isn’t big enough I’m screwed and I’ll have to fish vicariously through you fellow IDO’ers…

With how fast things are currently moving I wonder how challenging crossing the Canadian border is going to be this summer.

Damn it. After stressing the last month about weather my baseball opener trip will get canceled (which it just was, obviously) now youre going to start making me stress about the two trips I’ve got to Canada this year!
March 12, 2020 at 7:55 pm #1922501The Canadian resorts will suffer with all the flights that will cancel. Those driving should be OK I think. Although Canada won’t be exempt from this.

Woke up this morning, my wife is watching the news and says Justin Trudeau’s wife tested positive. Boom! Canada not exempt!
March 18, 2020 at 11:58 am #1924473BUMP: Reviving this question in light of Canada closing border to non-essential travel!
Does this mean no fishing the CAD side of Rainy River as long as Gov. Walz doesn’t confine us to our homes???
March 18, 2020 at 12:40 pm #1924499Had to cancel our trip to lotw. We were supposed to leave tomorrow
