What is this?

    Found this lodged in the wheel well flap of my daughter’s car when adjusting tire pressure. I know it’s a Phillip’s screwdriver head for a drill, but what’s up with the green collar? Is this to help prevent stripping the screw head?

    I believe that is a sheetrock Phillips driver screw head. The collar is there so you can only sink the screw so far into the sheetrock.

    The guys above are right. You can use that instead of an actual sheetrock screw gun.
