    Anyone been up this weekend to the Big Pond, curious if water is cooling off a bit, Im anxious to get up for fall fishing

    72-73 degrees up on the north end. Not really cooling down much yet and full sun every day

    69.8 on one unit & 70.2 on another on Monday evening.
    South end off Upper Twin.

    Seems odd but pretty much the same last night.
    The bite has improved though.

    Yeah was out yesterday as well. Saw the same. If you are smallie fishing you may want to wait as MLF boys will be pounding it all week.

    Do you know where they launch each tournament day? Eddys’s?

    Anyone been out yet this week? I was out there last Saturday, water temps were still in the 68-69 range. Hoping they’ll drop a bit by this coming weekend. Fishing was pretty slow for us, but we are far from experienced smallmouth fishermen :).

    I’ll be up Friday and Saturday again, hopefully they’ll be ready to hit some sucker minnows!

    I watch this guy’s report almost every week. Its short, direct, and right to the point. This is the most recent one from 9/17/22.
