We are heading up to Kab on June 15th and staying at Voyageur Park Lodge. We have stayed there twice in the past the week earlier. Does anyone have experience around the middle of June. Are the walleyes still relatively shallow or do we need to start looking at off shore humps?
For that time of the year you will most likely find them in both areas. Some will be already on the humps near shore and there should still be Walleyes near the first break. Find the bait fish and you will have Walleyes nearby. Most years they are mostly on the humps around July 4th. (but not every year) There should still be shallow fish early and late, low light periods.
