VNP House Boat trip

    I am going on a house boat vacation with my wife in VNP on August 21 for a week. We have never been there before and am hoping for a little help. I love small mouth and walleye fishing.

    Well…….Rainy or the other lakes? Ebols & Crane Lake are the two on the East end. Rainy Lake Houseboats up on Rainy.

    Tip 1……Pick up the houseboat as early as possible. As far as I know sites are first come first serve. The guys who show up later on Saturday burn a lot of gas looking for a open site.
