Just got back from 4 days of fishing. The first 2 days were tough, as a cold front shut everything down. Water was 53.4 deg. Finally found them biting on the mid lake flats in 28-32 ft of water. It had warmed to 57.5 deg by our 3rd day Had our best luck on orange spinners and bottom bouncers tipped with leeches. Best bite was late afternoon till dark. Water is very high. Almost all docks are tipped up out of the water. Very few cabins appeared to have been opened yet. Wish we could have stayed a couple more days… the bite should be awesome right now!
