Upgraded my Recurve

    Last night picking up broadheads I looked at this big river 55@28 custom long bow and couldnt say no. Its a pretty big upgrade from my old american archery recurve! I was going to do some more research on it but my understanding is it was made by a late in the 80’s gentlemen in Wisconsin. I’m pretty excited to get it out into the woods.

    Congrats. Did you happen to get it at Archery HQ?

    They are excellent bows, I have 4 of them. The bowyer was John McDonald I think from Wisconsin Rapids.

    Terry at Footed Shaft is a great guy. Get all my trad gear from them too. Nice bow!

    years ago I had an American recurve 56 incher , fast bow, wish I still had her. Good luck with the new bow.
