Updates are a pain

    The problem with the new electronics is in order to update them you must have a computer.
    Like a lot of my buddies (retired guys) I don’t own a computer any more. Do everything with a iPad. No way to download a update to a chip. Every year I need to bring a chip 95 miles each way to my boat dealer to download the software. Kind of expensive in time and gas. There has to be a better way. The units should be wi fi capable to directly download.

    SD card readers are available for the ipad. Google ipad sd card reader. They’re available at any Walmart.

    Most libraries have computers nowadays. They might be able to help you.
