This Brookie’s Belly Is Bigger Than Mine!!!!

    I have seen many wild brookies in my day. Not many are portly like this wild one is.

    The really amazing thing is this trout was caught way up in the headwater and this is a male brook trout.

    This is not brooder sow that eats until it is about explode.

    Brook trout are more carnivorous than most people think. I have caught MN North shore brookies under 12″ with entire mice in them.

    This really fun…placing a good size brookie in same position.
