    Took the kids over to the canal last saturday. Caught 25 crappies over 10 inches and released at least another 50 that were short. Overall, it was a fun day and the kids had a blast. I don’t think I ever got a rod in the water because I was too busy helping the kids. My 6 year old really kicked some butt. With an exception of putting the minnows on the hook, he did everything else by himself. I’ll be in the Johnson area all of next week. If you want to do some fishing let me know.
