…and it turned out to be a good one. Another MA sauger in the boat last week, this one went 20 3/4″ and a solid 3lbs. We had another good sauger on that came unhooked, most unfortunately.
Was out again yesterday in the canal and didn’t do very well at all. A few whites, and some very violent hits that amazed me when they didn’t hook up. Gonna be a hot week coming up, so we’ll see what that does to the fish. When the low is going to be 75, you know it’s going to be hot. Jeesh.

Nice fish and looks like it would be a good picture to frame on the wall.

    long

Hahaha….ya, it turned out to be a good pic. I was telling him how to hold it, and I told him to ‘in-fisherman that sucker’, so he stuck it out and it turned out real well. The other pics just don’t show the fish real well. Sure wish we would have gotten the other one in, I’m guessing he was just as good.

Brian, awesome sauger with great colors! Are you sure it slip it’s way over from Pool 4 this year with all the flooding?

    Lol,great fish!

    Thanks Dean!

The way this wild water has been this year, it might not be that far for him to swim from you to me! We’ve got so much water flowing through the canal system right now, it LOOKS like pool 4!

Sure hope you’re getting some fishing time in up there Dean, you deserve it!
