Transducer install

    I know this has been asked 1,000 times but finally got a chance to install my 93sv uhd. I tried to follow garmins instructions as close as possible. My biggest question is do you want the ducer to be level front and back? Or just side to side? I did get the side to side level but i have seen way too much either way on the front to back.

    You want the transducer to be level with the bottom when the boat is at scanning speed. So take the boat out and going between I guess 5-10 mph put a level on the gunnel and stack some change under the low side so it reads level. Then with the boat on the trailer put the level and the exact change in the same spot and adjust the trailer so it reads level. Then level the transducer so its level. Now the transducer will be good to go 👍

    Or use a angle indicator. The change and trailer jack is pretty cool idea too.
