When you tip a panfish spoon with plastic (wedgee, etc.) do you want the plastic to hang horizontal or vertical?

Depends on how you want to present. You can do either or even angled.

I’ve had the best luck for bluegill with a horizontal presentation. I usually have to correct the knot on every catch.

Make your spoon look like a SHRIMPO (so horizontal) with the tail

For spoons I always like to use a straight tail plastic and put the plastic on horizontal. Bluegills especially seem to like the horizontal presentation.

Thanks, Guys. I’ll start out with horizontal. Makes sense.
