Sxs insurance

    I picked up a pioneer 1000 this weekend. What are you guys with sxs paying for insurance a year?

    I have a 2016 Pioneer 1000-5 deluxe. My premium with full coverage and $500 deductible is $198.

    Who do you carry it through, if I can ask? Do you know if that would cover losing one through the ice, God forbid?

    I am a Farmer’s Insurance agent – I would be more than willing to get you a quote on your side by side. Premium varies a lot, so it kind of hard to give you a $ without getting the details and running a quote. Our ATV insurance does cover it if you drop it thru the ice. It covers the recover and physical damage. What it does not cover is any fine’s that are associated with it from the DNR. Some insurance carriers only cover the physical damage and not the recover cost so be sure to confirm with the company you go with.     2016 Maverick was about $350/yr if I remember. Full coverage which included replacement but not recovery if dropped in the lake.
