Suspended Crappie over Deep Open Water Basin

    With the water temperatures getting below 40 degrees recently, the Crappie appear to be starting to group up and associating with the deep channels and basins around the state. Some good fish have been reported the last few weeks.

    I’m curious to know what techniques you use for targeting suspended fish over deep (35+) feet of water which are not relating to brush piles or other structure?
