    So our long lost friend Superdave has been on leave for awhile, in case any of you are wondering what our chef friend has been up to, the lucky rascal has been retired for a while and living everyones dream, fishing any chance you can!
    I have been keeping in touch with him and I am here to tell you he is alive and well, and he has outdone us all!!

    Check this out !!! 30 pound king salmon ! WOW!! if that doesnt make you drool thinking of that thing smoked to perfection there is something wrong with you!!
    Congrats Dave!!! I bet that was a tank to reel in!!

    Now if we can get him to chime and tell us,,,, the rest of the story!

    I caught one close to it but I don’t know if it would have gone #30! We did not weigh it.

    That king was at least 40″ long. I just call it a 38″ long, but it was longer. The net at my feet was 36″ outside and it laid a couple of inches past on both sides.
