early sign of fall in NE iowa

    Got out on the cedar this morning pitching cranks for walleyes, after little success I switched to pitching plastics. In pretty short order I had five fish between 13-15 inches on chart pepper moxies on 3/32 oz head. Fish on plastics was a very welcome sight. All fish came in 3-4 ft with moderate flow.

    What part of the Cedar? We’re lucky to have 3-4 of water anywhere here!

    I was fishing around the waverly area. It’s pretty low so Im just using the chest highs, but there are some spots left to look over..
