fish on the st louis

    Im planing a trip up this weekend. just wondering how the fishing has been. what works ,and where? Is there a good cranking bite going?

    I fished it a couple weeks ago…the fish had already mostly moved out into the Big Lake.
    You have a two fish daily limit there…

    We caught a few 16-17″ fish and about 10 undersized…I wouldn’t go back unlesss you hit the spawning run peak.

    I warn you …the Coast Guard checks boats daily there at the Public Landings…make sure you have your registration and all legal boating neccessities!!!

    Fishing is still pretty good.Crawlers have worked well for me all spring.Id fish from spirit lake to the harbor.Still plenty of 20 to 25 inch fish being catch.Good luck ill be out both saturday and sunday morning.
