I am taking the fiance up to Duluth for the weekend (it is her favorite area to visit) and we will be pulling the boat and hoping to fish the St. Louis river a little on Saturday and Sunday. I wanted to see if anyone knows what sort of a bite maybe going on up there and might give a recommendation for which landing makes the most sense. I am thinking of putting in at Boy Scout Landing and fishing up river for bass and pike. Anyone want to toss a little help on if this is a good idea or if the water is high/muddy and I should look elsewhere it would be greatly appreciated.
