Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has been out on Spirit recently and seen any action on any species? Going to be up there for the Opener this weekend for a friendly tournament. I know last year the eyes were hitting off the dock and we picked up quite a few drifting off of Big Stoney Point.
I was just thinking that there was not much chattter going on in here, since it is mothers day weekend and mama is off from work and I will be in Minnesota the following week, I thought That I’d better stay home, I’ll take her mushroom hunting. 
The opener was a bit lacking in action due to the change in the wind the night before. The more prolific and experienced fishermen probably limited out but I ended up with an almost slot limit walleye at 16.75 inches. That evening off the dock we were hitting them like crazy all eyes were 13 inches and above. ended up with a total of 13 off the dock could have had a couple more for our limits.
