Opener Tactics in the metro

What do you guys do for opener here in the metro. Im thinking the spawn should be mostly done and the big females will be recovering on the nearest drops and deeper cover. Give me your thoughts?

I think it’s a bit early to tell where the spawn will be at this point. I’ve seen smallies on beds well after the opener on years where we had far less ice. It’s all going to depend on how early the ice is off and what type of temps we see after it’s gone.

I can tell you this. I’ll be fishing either plastics, cranks or spinner baits.

What no topwater

As much as it pains me to say this but I have to agree with Chriss Way to early to tell where the spawn will be. Only time will tell
