Getting a chance to fish in Iowa at Clear Lake in a few weeks. Never fished it. Anyone have anything that might be of some use for me? I am guessing slow and small will be the ticket because of how early it is. Any colors seem to be the best or any other info on the lake would be great.

If your inquiring about musky I do not fish them but I will pass on what I know.The majority of the fish will come off the limited sructure in the lake Billy reef/island/ big reef/ gilmore reef and the man made weed beds alot of fish were caught last year trolling your larger cranks.On our local news last nite they had seined many nice fish Good luck
