    Hey Everyone,
I’ve been approached by a brand sponsor this year to help produce a musky tournament on Vermilion this summer. Initial concepts would be similar rules to the former MMTT, but would be only one day and $300 per team to enter.

I said I would feel around and get an idea of interest before I would continue on the concept.

I’ve heard a lot of musky guys state that they miss the Hartman tournaments and wished there were some musky tourneys again in MN.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!
    MW

I am a novice musky fisherman but a little steep of a price for my rookie tourney season.

Can you still get a permit this late in the year?

With a decent payout you would have no problem filling a tournament on Vermilion. There are plenty of people who are waiting for someone to step up and get a MN tournament series going again. The DNR has changed there rules on tournaments so getting a permit may not be easy for prime time on that body of water but you would have no problem getting 150 boats for that entry fee. Best of luck hope you can make it happen.
