Shutting off sound on a Helix 9

    I have a Helix 9 Chirp Mega SI G2N and I’m wanting to play with it in the living room. In setup there is nothing to adjust or shut off the sound. Scientific Angler has a video showing how to do it on a Helix 10 but on mine there is no option. Is it possible that the 9 does not have this feature or am I missing something ?

    The manual describes the procedure the same as the video but says nothing about certain models not having that feature.

    Checked my Helix 7 and it’s the same as the Helix 9

    I have the same model, can’t say I remember a sound option

    I’m not sure, but try changing the “User Mode” to custom. It might be in there.

    good to know…after I updated my Helix 7 the sound never came on. Not really sure I miss it just wondered what happened. I may have to tinker with it and see if I want it on?
