Things have picked up

    Went to Sherman Wednesday and did okay, my Mother volunteered to watch the kids today so my wife and I decided to brave the crowds in an impromptu visit.

    If you didn’t go to the trail 12 area the crowds were not to bad. Here are a few pics of released fish, we did keep a few 16″ to eat. All on jigs and a crawler except 2 which were on a circle hook and leach. Best was just over 20 but several in the 18-19 range. It was a good time and the areas we went had little to no boat pressure less the occasional pleasure boat a little to close off the bow.

    Very nice…a happy wife is a good thing.

    I got a phone call saying they got their limit up there today or yesterday, don’t know if there were any ‘overs’ in em.
    Heard a decent report from Davis, too.

    I expect it’ll be a good June at Sherman. Just wish it was closer to me.
