We headed to sherman yesterday fishing. The conditions were absolutely brutal. We had 30-40 mph nw west winds. At times we had 5-6 foot swells. We did manage to have a decent day. We caught 15 nice sized white bass. They were caught trolling crankbaits on a point off the dam with a sharp break down into 25 foot of water. We didn’t find any walleye. Most of the lake was unfishable due to the wind. Had we been able to get to our walleye spots I’m pretty confident we would of found them eventually. We had plans to fish all day and called it a day at about noon due to the high winds. All the fish are out in deeper water relating to sharp breaks. We marked no fish shallow. If you were on a sharp break then the lowrance was full of arches and if you weren’t then it wasn’t. Heading back up there tommorow and sunday and will report when I get back.
