I was hoping to get some tips or advice on how to fish this shallow lake for walleye.(i attached a lake depth map) The lake survey shows that there are good numbers of large walleye there. I have had luck in the winter here and just don’t know whether the walleye will bite when the water gets warm.

Low light morning and evening times, need to be quite so cranks on planer boards or pitch bobbers with leeches away from the boat. Would be how I would start.

Kee is hit or miss this time of year. Try spinners on the NW flats or pitch the rocks on the southeast shore at dusk. Pulling spinners on Ashtabula’s weedlines may be a better bet for walleye. Keep in mind water levels are very low in the area. Good luck!

I troll a shallow lake quite often. 5-7 fow. I stay small for the most part but speed up the presentation as the water warms up. As the water temp increases they will chase more. The lake is dirty so time of day really doesnt seem to affect them as much. Good luck
