Septic question

    I have a perfect circle of green grass of a 6′ radius about a foot wide around my vent pipe. Septic is around 45 yrs old and working fine. Only problem has been the pipe that leads to field froze twice but had that replaced from cast to an insulated pvc about 15 yrs ago and no freeze up since. What would make this circle?

    My guess is that it is heat escaping the vent keeping the ground thawed and allowing growth. Does the circle dissipate in summer?
