First time selling a boat, I have a bill of sale written up with all the serial numbers and I want to make sure I have all my ducks in the row.

Boat trailer is DMV Registration (Single Axle)
    Boat itself DNR registration card

The lean card would be for both, is there anything else that I am missing that I need to sign or do?

    Thanks

Nope main thing is get the funds. If you have a lien take the buyer to your bank and let him pay off the loan and deposit the balance if there is any. The bank will then sign off the lien card and you are good to go. Also be sure he signs and dates the buyer line on the title. You then remove that and keep it. It keeps you from being liable if he doesn’t transfer the title.

Is this in MN? Because the trailer and boat are seperate in mn, and boats over 16′ are titled. They would have seperate lien cards. If not in MN then disregard.
