We were on the Missouri River in Peirre this weekend and caught 19 walleyes all between 17-21 inches. They were all caught in 6-11 FOW. The best bite was on a 1/4 oz jig wit a minnow casting up into the shallows and slow retreiving it. The Water temp on Sat was 39-41 aned sunday was 41-43.4 when we left at noon. Also caught a couple nice smallies in the shallows with hair jigs tipped with a minnow. Green chatruse was the hot color in jig.
    Good luck fishin.

Were you fishing Lake Sharpe right in town? We were there April 3-7 and got whipped. Between 30 plus winds and teens for temps we fished Sharpe for 2 days without a bite. Thursday the winds layed down a little and we got on Oahe and got 7 salmon. We heard Sharpe was going before the cold and all the rain. When we were there the Bad River was running chocolate milk and messing up everything below it. Glad you had a good trip. Do you go there often?

yeah we did pretty good for the fact that the temp had just dropped like it did here.
