Bite update from Sodak

    Just a quick blurp on the recent fishing. I am going to try to do more of these as time goes on.

    -Shallow flats with cranks or jig and plastic is working well

    -livebaiters still doing well on jig/minnow presentation: greens and chartruese colored jigs working well

    -have not heard much from the spinner/crawler crowd, look for this bite to improve as water temps warm. I am seeing 60-65 degree surface temps depending on lake and area of lake right now.

    How’s the weed growth coming along? You starting to see some of the more shallow bodies of water choke out a little bit or is growth proceeding slowly?

    Weed growth is starting in some of the smaller sloughs in the form of more moss on the bottom with some smaller shoots, no defined weed lines yet. – QB
