Made it out last night for a few hours of fishing before the sun went down. I started at Sandpiper and dragged crankbaits until I located fish. I caught a few on the cranks and then stopped and anchored. I caught a few smaller whites with a jigging spoon and then decided to try the flats up by the bridge. The west side of the flats was loaded with fish as the depth dropped from 8 foot to 15 foot. The fish were on top of the drop off as well as suspended out from the edge. I caught about a dozen nice whites/wipers in the 14-17″ range. I also caught 4 channel cats that were 3-5 lbs. My most productive bait was a white 6A Bomber. Great nite to be out. Heading to Red Rock on Sunday as the report has been very good. My buddy was down there on Wednesday and caught many 14-20″ fish with a 27 1/4″ 10lb 8oz. beauty being the biggest.
