A relaxing afternoon with the suckers.

    I got the urge to see if the suckers were on today. I drove down to my favorite spot on the Zumbro, set up my chair in the sun, put on a juicy crawler, and waited for the suckers. In a few minutes, I had already relearned what the tap, tap, tap of a hungry river stud felt like. In the next hour + I caught five healthy fish and discovered that the run was on! Bring on the grand kids & a free afternoon!

    I tried my spot Sat morning but the river was raging and the suckers were not.
