good carp spots in or near farmington.mn?

    I’m looking for a spot where its common to catch carp around farmington mn

    From shore or do you have a boat? The Lower stretches of the Vermillion river towards Hastings otherwise Spring Lake on the Mississippi on Rosemount Hastings borders has lots of carp n cats from shore at the public access or from boat in spring lake and all of pool 2. The Vermillion is a trout stream so you would have to check the regulations to see where the trout regs end etc Access is limited as well as it is through private lands on the lower stretches.
