Rock River Indianford Dam Fishing Report, 1/3

    Not a thing. Not a damned thing.

    My brother and I shoulda known there would be trouble when the bait shop at the dam (the only one around for 20 miles) was closed. Threw out some green crawlers with weights and blades hoping for a catfish or a sheepshead, but no luck. Through jigs for walleye in the whitewater and didn’t have a bite. Got a little cold, so we took off.

    That’s my report and, sorry to say, I’m sticking to it. Anyone in the know on fishing that Indianford dam?

    CaptainCat Thanks for the report, keep them coming. Next time will be a better day. Try the bait shop in Newville next time at the Shell station.

    Thanks, Jeff. Actually, after reading one of your reports last week, we were going to head up to the Ft. Atkinson portion of the Rock. Didn’t make it up there, though.

    Had two Gyros Plate Specials and a couple Heinekens at Ray’s Restaurant in Edgerton on the way up, could hardly walk to the truck afterward, so we limped home to Orfordville and slept like a couple of bears………….
