Well how big of a zoo will it be down there this weekend? Planning on being down there sat and sun.

Nope, sorry Ryan, I hate to visit the zoo on holiday weekends, ever since the monkeys found out how to put their boat in the water.

James, we need a couple monkey gremlins.

Got out for a day and a half and the crappies were hammerin my home made rigs. Tubes hardly got looked at except by the smaller fish. Largest were 2 15 1/4″ fish and several that went 13″ to 14 1/4″. Smallest kept went 11 1/2″. A couple bonus eyes also.
One of my better trips in a while. The bite times were from daylight till 11:00 and then again from 3:30 till dark.

Another good trip. The numbers were down but the quality held or got even better. Several factors seemed to play against the fisherman. East wind on friday, full moon phase, and most of all the heat. Saturday the south wind played heck with you if you wanted to jig the brush piles.
Still a good trip though.
